  Just enough to sync your focus progress, achievements, and preferences across devices.
• We never sell or share your data.
  StarForge is funded by users, not by advertisers. You pay for the product — you are not the product.
• We protect your progress.
  Your sessions, stars, and achievements are encrypted and securely stored in Firebase, accessible only to you.

🔒 Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

StarForge ("we," "our," "us") values your privacy and collects only minimal data necessary to provide core app functionality and synchronization. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

2. Data We Collect

(a) Data Linked to You (Only if you create an account)

• Name and email (for account creation and backup).
• Session data (Focus, Vitality, Achievements) stored in Firebase for cross-device sync.
• Notification preferences.

Note: You can use StarForge without an account. In anonymous mode, all data stays on your device only.

(b) Data Stored Locally Only

• Guardian / Screen Time data (blocked apps, distraction statistics).
  Stored entirely on-device using Apple's APIs and never uploaded to Firebase or any third party.

(c) Automatically Collected (not linked to identity)

• App usage analytics and crash logs via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics.

3. Why We Collect It

We collect this data to:

• Sync your progress between devices.
• Provide achievements, stats, and streak tracking.
• Improve performance and fix bugs.
• Restore your data if you reinstall the app.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, Firestore storage, analytics, crash reports.
• Apple StoreKit — payments and subscriptions.

None of these services receive your Guardian or screen-time data.

5. Data Security

Your information is encrypted in transit and at rest on Firebase servers. Access is restricted to authorized systems and protected by Google Cloud compliance standards.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Your data is stored while your account remains active. You can request deletion of your account and data anytime via starforgeapp@gmail.com — we will delete all Firebase-stored data within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

StarForge can be used without creating an account (anonymous mode). In this mode, no personal information is collected.

If you choose to create an account for cross-device sync, you must be 13 years or older, or have parental consent. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date will be updated on the website and in the app settings.

⚙️ Terms of Use

1. Introduction

By using StarForge ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

StarForge is designed to help you focus, move, and reduce distractions through guided sessions, activities, and progress tracking.

The App is provided by Peakloom LLC, registered in Texas, United States ("we," "our," "us").

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use StarForge on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms.

You may not copy, modify, resell, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the App.

3. User Accounts

StarForge can be used without an account (anonymous mode) with all data stored locally on your device.

If you choose to create an account for cross-device synchronization, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and any actions under it.

You agree to provide accurate information (such as name and email) when creating or restoring your StarForge account.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

StarForge offers premium access via auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple.

Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple's App Store, not by Peakloom LLC.

Free trials are available once per user. Subscription can be canceled at any time in your Apple ID settings.

5. Content & Data

StarForge stores your session progress, achievements, and preferences in your account to allow cross-device synchronization.

All focus session data, vitality (activity) data, and achievements are owned by you.

Guardian data (distraction blocking via Apple Screen Time APIs) remains on your device and is never uploaded or shared.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes;
• Interfere with App functionality or servers;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.

7. Disclaimer

While we strive to provide a reliable service, the App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."

We cannot guarantee that StarForge will be completely error-free or always available, but we work hard to ensure the best experience possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peakloom LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Total liability shall not exceed USD $50.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.

Any disputes shall be handled by the courts of Travis County, Texas.
